Oracle Calendar Desktop Client Installation Instructions


Download the Oracle Calendar client from Cal Poly Portal

  1. Login to the My Cal Poly Portal.
  2. Click on the "Technology" tab.
  3. Go to the Software Download channel.
  4. Click on either "Windows" or "Macintosh."
  5. Click on the Oracle Calendar Client DOWNLOAD link and follow the instructions.

Installation

  1. Launch the installer downloaded above.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the install.

Configuration

  1. Launch Oracle Calendar.
  2. At the login screen click on Other.
  3. Select New to configure a connection to the calendar server.
  4. Type in a connection name, such as Oracle Calendar.
  5. Type in calendar.calpoly.edu for the server and click Lookup.
  6. Check to make sure the Node is specified as 750 and click OK.
  7. The default settings for Authentication, Compression and Encryption will be set
    automatically and no changes are required.
  8. Select the newly created connection from the list and click Make Default.
  9. Click OK to return to the login screen.
  10. Type in your Cal Poly Username (jmustang@calpoly.edu) and password to login.
