Desktop Client Off-line Agenda Password

Offline Password Management in the Oracle Calendar Desktop Client

Beginning in January 2007, passwords for the My Cal Poly Portal will begin expiring on an annual basis. If you've already set a new password this year, you're done! If not, you will receive a series of warning notices by e-mail between January and May.

This change also affects your online Calendar password and if you work offline, your offline Calendar password.

If your offline Calendar password does not match your online Calendar password, you will encounter offline password prompts when logging in after changing your password. Follow the instructions below to change the offline Calendar password to match your Cal Poly password.

Start the Oracle Calendar desktop application.

In the User name field type your Cal Poly Username. (jmustang@calpoly.edu.)

Enter your Cal Poly password.

Click the Sign-in button.

If the Off-line password dialog box appears, enter your OLD Calendar account password and press the OK button.
