How to set up a new cpSPAM Filter


  1. Click the Preferences tab.
    The Preferences tab is highlighted.

  2. Click the Mail Filters tab.
    The Mail Filters sub-tab is highlighted.

  3. Click the New Filters button.
    The Mail Filters window is open.  The New Filter button is highlighted.

  4. In Filter Name field, type cpSPAM.
    The Add Filter window is open.  The Browse button is highlighted.

  5. Change the filter settings to Subject > contains, and type cpSPAM in the text field.
  6. Under the Perform the following actions field, click the drop box and change it to File into folder.
  7. Click Browse. The Choose Folder window will open.
  8. Select the Junk folder.
    The Choose Folder window is open.  The Junk folder is selected.

  9. Click OK. The Choose Folder window will close.
  10. Click OK again. The Add Filter window will close.
  11. The message Filter Saved will display. Your cpSPAM filter setup is complete.
