General Information about the Upgrade



Campus email and calendar systems will be unavailable during the campus Thanksgiving break from Wednesday evening, November 21, through Sunday morning, November 25. During this time, ITS will perform a major upgrade to the Oracle Collaboration Suite (OCS) software and all existing OCS email, calendar events and contacts will be moved to the new version.

Messages sent to campus email accounts during this time will be stored and delivered after the upgrade is complete.

If you require email delivery during the outage period, your Email Delivery Address can be redirected to an off-campus email system. Instructions to change email delivery addresses are located at:

All supported clients will continue to work with the upgraded system. For additional information, please visit http://email.calpoly.edu.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but it is important that we upgrade the system as soon as possible for security reasons. ITS has made every effort to limit the number of issues which may arise.
