Spam Email Information and Management
In January of 2004 Cal Poly implemented a spam strategy of marking suspected spam email with cpSPAM in the subject. In the links below you will find information on automatically moving such messages out of the inbox, preventing non-spam from being moved, and other information about what Cal Poly is doing to deal with spam. Read through the SPAM - FAQs to get an overview of what spam is and what you can do about it when it arrives in your email account. In May of 2004 Cal Poly implemented a greylisting method to further combat spam. See the links below for more information.
