Opens new window for login through My Cal Poly Portal.
Go to Single-Click Channel on Main tab.
Students: Automatic logoff/disconnect after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Faculty/Staff: Automatic logoff/disconnect after four (4) hours of inactivity.
An activity is: OPENing messages, FILING messages, and SENDing messages. You can lose what you've typed if you don't have activity within the specific timeframe.
Logging off your Email Account
You must logoff of your email account when you are finished so that no one will be able to get into your email account. To logoff your email account, select EXIT or Logoff in the email application window, or CLOSE all Web browser windows so there are no Netscape or Internet Explorer windows open. If you simply go to another Web page and do not EXIT (with the exit button), your email account will remain open to the next person who uses the computer and hits the BACK button.
